3   Plan for and implement effective             teaching and learning

3.6   Evaluate and improve teaching programs

Demonstrate broad knowledge of strategies that can be used to evaluate teaching programs to improve student learning.

I believe that teachers need to constantly review and reflect on their lessons and programmes to best support best practise.  This evaluation enables teachers to focus on what works or what didn't to inform future planning and to improve outcomes for students.  These refelctions can be made on a daily bssis (eg: notes made on daily workpads, on a weekly/termly basis (evaluation on a unit of work, recording improvements and modifications) or on an annual basis (eg: reflection of assessment data of standardised tesing)
