I believe the organisation of classroom activities and the provision of clear instructions is important in creating and maintaining an effective learning environment.   I posess a strong ability to effectively communicate clear and concise outlines and expectations of  learning activities.  One of my strengths as a teacher is to thoroughly and creatively plan  for and then execute time management to include introductions of learning intentions, sharing of sucess criteria, explicit teaching opportunities, student involvement and practise to allow intentions to be achieved as well as onclude lessons with a plenary reflection time .  These elements allow lesson transitions to run  smoothly which support positive learning outcomes.

 

The detailed Mathematics lesson plan pictured to the right demonstrates my ability to organise classroom activities so that there is a flow between content. 

When I facilitated this planned lesson I presented it with  clear, precise, concise instructions and modelling.
